You get to sit in a patrol car with your fishin’ and beer drinkin’ buddies and talk about your day, killing your wife and child and your bowel movements. Its a full day brother!
In one of the more remarkable moments from this bizarre story out of South Carolina I am observing that Double Murder Defendant Alex Murdaugh testifying at his own trial answering questions on the witness stand related to two separate and distinct interviews by investigators about his wife and one son's double murders in the Summer of last year.
Here's a man and a Family that by all accounts had it all, owned it all, controlled it all in their part of the World in what is known as South Carolina's, "Lowcountry..." but YET and STILL having it all, apparently, wasn't enough for Alex Murdaugh.
He has a nasty prescription drugs habit, severe financial troubles, he swindled and embezzled funds from his very own law practice, apparently over a period of several years, defrauded his law practice’s very own clients, embezzled and otherwise swindled and lied his way through an already privileged life for the sake of money to supply his very real and nasty drug habits, up to and including killing his very own wife and a son of his to cash in on two lucrative life insurance policies on them to continue too supply his drug habits.
For his part though Murdaugh says he is a drug addict, he did lie, perpetually and habitually, to; Family, Friends, Former Colleagues and his very-own-life-long buddies in the law enforcement community that he's having Old Home Week with in the patrol cars!, that this was all, really, because of a cooked books boating accident that one of his son's had had in which drugs and alcohol consumption were involved and several of the young man's friends were hurt and killed along with some local fishermen a few years ago.
The books were cooked by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and a SLED Special Investigator David Owens in that boating accident and another family friend's legal issues some years back, apparently, SLED and this Mr. David Owens were heavily involved in that as well, and then Mr. Murdaugh asserts also that outright; lies, rumors, innuendo, falsehoods and fallacies were and have continued to be spread about this son's boating accident, the Murdaugh Family itself, and social media postings drove someone, somewhere to take up arms and murder this young man and his mother down at the family stables and barns on their palatial estate near Walterboro, SC. USA in the Summer of last year.
The books were cooked alright, and they continue to be cooked by this Lying Lawyer (Lawyers LIE for a dishonest living folks! Really NOTHING NEW there, okay!?) for the sake of his habitual drug habits and to cover-up his BULLSHIT and snobbery. His outright lies. Like a cat covers up their shit in a litter box.
HANG THE BASTARD TIL HE'S GOOD AND DEAD! CASE CLOSED.
